Well Ohio is 65, so are IN,IL. Then Mo bumps it up to 70 .........

6ou better be making killer money because averaging 75 across those alone is gonna cost ya when you get caught.

6000? And people wonder why CSA, EOBRs and HOS revisions keep coming down the pike.

Here's what I see: "Wealthy Arabian family needs Eastern European Drivers to exploit". Run as hard as possible while we short your pay. Get disqualified as soon as possible from driving for HOS violations and we'll keep your last three or four weeks' paychecks while you get deported. Oh- we need new drivers to replace old drivers really, really fast.

Yeah, I'll take my low'ish pay and slow (but new) equipment for that "No Violations" roadside inspection...

You don't have to average 75 in 10 hrs people.

There is 24hrs in a day. You run 10hrs at a 60mph average. Take a 10 and run 2.5hrs more and you still have 1.5 hrs to fuel and take a leek and walk your dog and get the 750 a day.

I can do 700 on I-5 in a 24hr period so I know it can be done out in the flats back east. You just can't be screwing around at the casinos and T/S.

If you drove before the hand holding era 750 a day and more was the norm on long haul runs. used to run panasonic loads from Sumner Wa to Staunton VA 3.5 days and they gave you 4.5 to get to Ocala FL and that includes load time.:biggrin_25525:

If I can do a legal 660 mi in less than 11 hours in my 60mph truck through Wyoming, it's doable in 24 for sure... And before anyone jumps at my math, gravity assist downhill bumps the avg mph up a bit...:biggrin_255:

No scales, no backups, no potty breaks, perfect weather then maybe.

Remember, there are 14 hours to drive that 11... That's 3 hours of potty breaks. And yeah, Pre-pass took care of the Port of Entry for both Wyoming and Utah -- no other scales on that run. For once, in Wyoming, it was perfect weather; no wind to speak of, even! :biggrin_2556:

Just saying that I would be making an easy 750 miles if I had one of those fast trucks that blow my doors off all day long...:biggrin_25515:

I've done 750 miles in 11 hrs. Not hard running on I-10 in Texas with 70-80 mph speed limits and few truckstops/no casinos to distract you between Houston and El Paso in an ungoverned truck.

Okay so 750 can be done, but it may be a bit difficult and illegal to do 750 miles for 7 straight days with the current HOS regulations.
