great suggestion,, I use a laptop and never let my personal stuff get out...it stays right there....good advice..thought the phone thing was cool till you said something...just staying with the laptop.

I would agree, but in general all the personal information would stay on my laptop (I have two in my truck), all the smartphone app is for is quick entry, so i don't have to drag my laptop out every time I want to make an entry, IE: receipts, fuel stops, plus log info, I also record mileage, time and place on every stop I make even rest areas just so I have a trail if needed.. It would just be nice to do it on a smartphone app and at the end of the day or two just merge the data... there would be no additional personal info added the the smartphone that isn't already there.
I have a Cybertrucker laptop stand and it works fine but it just makes thing that much more cluttered especially with a scanner,2meter,CB,Sirius radio and a dog named boo...
