    My local trailer shop says prices are up $200-300 per box from aluminum tariffs.

    I have not seen them up close but a trailer place in KY called TMI. seems to have decent stuff for a reasonable price. Again I don’t know the quality?

    I bought 3 bawer boxes last year. Tool boxes are hard to find in stock at the moment.

    My favorite built box that I’ve seen (quality) is AREO!

    Thats because they are made with foreign metal.

    American made boxes with American metal have no tariffs,.. problem solved.

    No offense,.. but sounds like your local shop is ripping you off. I have a welder I've known and used for years now. He says no such thing.

    The factory boxes from Fontaine arent exactly great quality. I always meant to add an L bar across the front to prevent sagging.

    I'm trying not to spend a lot of money if I can help it. Plan to put the trailer up for sale in March. Its starting to show its age.

    When your ready for a good box look at Highway Products. Buy it once. in this case it may not be your best option, but they are definitely quality

    It was registered as a 2013, but had a build date of 2012. Good trailer,.. no complaints.

    I bought a 2017 MAC brand new. Took delivery of it in Oct 2017. Another good trailer.
