I am currently looking at a 2006 w900 with an ISX and 13 speed. Truck has around 1.2 million miles on it, but has had an in-frame around 200,000 ago. I was just curious what to look for on these isx motors. I have really only been around CAT engines and would appreciate any feedback. Thank you!

Stay away from ISX15 engines, especially the early ones that had camshafts that would go flat and thrown rods through the block.

I have a 2007 w900 with a 2006 cummins in mine check to see if the cam has been replaced and see if it was updated with the new liners when rebuilt. I have 1.619208 miles on mine with 280k on rebuild runs great good mpg and power.
