I just bought a 2011 Prostar has the CM871 cummins no DEF.

Is this truck still California compliant being the engine is a 2010 and it has DPF only? I was under impression it had to have DEF to be California compliant.

Also what issues should I watch out for truck has 780K miles on it. Is this model prone to carbon packing or is the 2250/2350 engines? I was already thinking of using the Valvoline Blue Restore on it maybe do 1 oil change with that then the next 2 full synthetic then use the restore again.

Im assuming with the mileage the fuel pump should have been addressed under warranty with the ceramic plungers.

Lastly this trucks A/C isn't blowing cold could that be the high pressure sensor and the 2 thermistors causing this?

Might be for the emissions to stop it from regening. Mine has it for the DPF filter
