Running boats/RVs off uship at this point, getting the feet wet and saving for a deckover. But is that optimal? Are there direct loads out there I could be getting instead of haggling with people who know absolutely nothing about what it is they're asking me to do? Bc some of these people......

Running boats and RV's off of Uship is a nightmare. The pay is absolutely horrible, as you are taking huge risks with hauling these trailers with 10yr old rotting tires.

What kind of rig are you trying to run with? 3/4ton, 1ton, bigger?

Don’t do it , how can you make a profit. Who would run something for the lowest possible rate ?

I've done some hauling for powersports, but it has been very seasonal with lots of droughts in demand. I do enjoy it, but I've never been able to see it as a full time market, only subsidiary to a car hauling business. :dontknow: I don't even want to suggest car hauling since it is so teeth grinding and competitive.

Agreed, UShip is a losing game. I did start with it, simply to make direct customers and a reputation. Central dispatch, super Dispatch, or one of the many quality paid services is the way to go.
