BigRoad, Keep Truckin' Etc Etc

I have been using Big Road for about 3 yrs. I love it. It's free, easy to use and customer service is superior, usually getting a response in less than a day if not in a matter of a few hours. One of the pluses I have noticed is that when the cops ask about logs when I say it's on my phone they don't even look. In my opinion Big Road is the best one out there.

 

I work for an O/O so except for fuel I don't do any record keeping Just the logs and dvir . It does automatically calculate your daily mileage after you put in beginning and end miles. If you should be in violation it will show up red in the graph portion that you see and can be easily edited . It has another feature that is for inspection . The violation isn't highlighted for the inspector. If needed you can also fax or email your logs to the inspector. I email copies to myself every 7 days to be used for taxes if needed.

 

It does track it and you can use it if you want, but you have to get all of that info from the website. Not viewable via the app on your phone

 

I used Big Road for four years and loved it. Now using JJ Keller and hate it, wish I could go back to Big Road. I don't know about them summarizing IFTA for you, but I used Tripsheetsonline.com for trip sheets and they were very easy to use for IFTA. Simply download the range you want and send it in to your reporting state.

 

We use the Rand McNally truck GPS, and download it once a quarter. Instant IFTA report.

If it got stolen, there'd be gnashing of teeth....
