2015 Kenworth T680 Turbo has been replaced twice and both times it’s blown out in a matter of driving it a couple of miles. Any idea what the problem can be. I am asking for my husband thanks in advance.

That’s odd. The chances are too great. Maybe a oil supply tube restriction? Post the engine make, maybe one of the real Mechanics on here will have some idea. Newer Turbos are complicated. Might be something unique to the engine they’ve seen. Im guessing it a Paccar or a Cummins engine. Extra info might help them figure it out.

Who replaced the turbos? A good shop or did your husband do it himself?
If the first turbo grenaded itself it sent shrapnel flying everywhere and the entire air intake piping new disassembled and cleaned and the air to air coolerMidwest Trucker and AModelCat Thank this. -
How was it lubricated after installation?

Many things. Need to know the nature of the failures if you want better answers.
Was the exhaust and intake cleaned out properly? Was the turbo pre-lubed with clean oil at installation? Genuine OEM turbo or cheap aftermarket junk? If its leaking oil into the exhaust is it possible its coming from the engine itself?A5¢, jamespmack, BoxCarKidd and 1 other person Thank this. -
Funny how many people don't check air filters for metal after a koooboom. -
As already mentioned, oil supply or return blockage, debris damage after the first failed turbo.
But has it been recently deleted?
