Hey all, just want to update my status with BCI.
They are a specialized company that warehouses equine, pet stuffs, farm and feed as well. There are 2 terminals, one in Hazleton, PA and one in Mason, OH. The delivery to the indi pet shops, equine stores, horse tracks, Agway, and some Amish farms.
I been there about 7 months, and its working out real well. Small financially secure company that is growing. We lease trucks out of Penske, and about 2 months ago got 2012 Cascadias. The pay is very good, like all miles paid, all stops paid, layover pay, and a 8 cents on the mile safety bonus paid every 6 months. They seem to actually give a crap and pay accordingly. Dedicated routes and they hire noobs.
Thats the good!
The bad, no one company is perfect. Your body will take a beating. Most of the trailers don't have lift gates, so when a customer does not have a dock or a fork lift, well you got to break the pallets down, or walk the freight to the tail gate, and wheel it in, up and down, up and down. No helper either. So if your thinking of signing on, keep that in mind.
Other then that , they are a Diamond in the ruff of trucking companies.
