C15 cam bearings

I am in the middle of a build on a C15. Picked up a Cat head today and had it side by side with the old one comparing and checking. I noticed the cam bearing orientation was not the same. I checked on SiS and it says split on bearings needs to be 20 degrees from horizontal. That's how the bearing in the old head are. The bearings in the new one the split is lined up horizontal. I understand oil flows behind the bearings to oil holes. How critical is this? Is this bad QC from Cat? Anybody had this issue and is it safe to install the new head?
