Hi y'all
I have a carrier comfort pro 200INT dated 2021 build. It has started doing this funky crap where it will idle down as if shutting off but come right back up again. It has also started acting up while cranking as if it was starving for fuel (doesn't always do it). My company just put this unit in a couple months ago. Now when it idles down, sometimes my AC shuts off even though the fans are blowing (but not cold). Then I hear the AC compressor kick back on and get cold. But this can take a couple minutes. The only lights that are on are the sol hold and alt power (I believe this to be normal) from what I've read. Any help would be great thanx

Check the clamp on the fuel lines. Particularly around the line filter. I had a gear clamp broken and you couldn't tell without pulling it right off the line.
Not sure if I'm understanding what you mean about the ac. Unless the newer Carriers are different they don't idle down. They start, they run at thier set rpm, and shut off. Carrier apu run a generator to power your hvac. Basically your ac compressor has a built in electric motor. So if the rpms drop to idle I guess there isn't enough electricity generated to power the ac compressor.HeavyHaulPete2004 Thanks this. -

Also your evaporator could be freezing up. If your hvac box is accessible pull the filter out and see if core is frosty.
But I think it is caused by the rpm dropHeavyHaulPete2004 Thanks this.
