And you win some and lose alot. Had days that places breakdown and only dump twice. Then have days it seems everyone else stayed home and dump 5 to 6 loads.
I personally dont do brokered grain. No money in that, that I see. -

The last time I hauled peanuts, I had 3 trailers and just dropped and hooked in the field, always had a load waiting on me. You can get a good load of gren peanuts in a 53 foot live bottom too. lol

We have some rice ground and do all of our harvest hauling but they usually haul sawdust, bark, or wood chips.jamespmack Thanks this. -

Unless you swept them out, there would be a thousand pounds or more left in the trailer, so at the end of harvest I would sweep them out in the barn and let them dry. These were valencia peanuts, good eating peanuts, we had enough to last all year and then some. lol
It has been right at 20 years since I messed with them, and I would run 1200 a day back them on a around 200 miles, so the pay was pretty good for the time.
I do not even remember what I got out of the field when I hauled wheat and milo, haven't done it since around 77 or so. I was just a kid and rented a farmers truck for harvest, but I made good money for the times.
