I'm curious, do you drivers have a CAD or some other software that you can enter the vehicles you are loading onto which trailer? Will this software show you how to load, OR is it just experience?

I'd made a spreadsheet once upon a time. But I never really used it much.

You get pretty good at it after a few times scaling loads. If I have one I'm unsure about, I'll check suspension pressure after I've got the top units on truck, just give me an idea where I'm at. That's maybe 3 times a year.

I think the union carriers have load software, bet I've never asked a driver to verify.

I use CarShipIO. It’s about the cost of 2 months worth of CD for the entire year. You can build all your loads, any truck, track, BOL, invoice, everything.
