All will go well until it doesn't. You will need to have some reserve money if they send you packing from the CDL school. If not I don't know how you're going to eat or even get home. I went through the Swift school in Phoenix back in 2013 and there were people that didn't make it and I'm not sure how they got home or if the company even paid for them to get back home.
You need to have plans in place regarding what will happen if things don't work out. It's just part of life, the planning part and all. -
Yes had already planned for that senaro. Anything can happen and the "oh it wont happen to me" misconception is gone
Dont make the cut it wont be for lack of trying or lying or a ua. And that's what's in my control the rest is up in the air tell it isn't. -
Thx Again for the input and help. -

He never said he didn't have money, that's true. I am sure the recruiter will tell him to pack for 6 weeks and you need $400 before you get paid. I had a problem with a few students that had $40 when we left the Terminals. Anyways. Hopefully he is reading this.

Sucks here at the moment. If need the permit 1st can only take it once a month only place for like 60 miles. Ugh stupid covid. -
Very nice. Hope it works out. Just go to a mega and work off the cost of the school. Not a big deal there. Not sure how much a mega charges for school and training. However, if you have very little money. Go to a mega. They deduct each month or every 3 months from the cost, but I would call if you have time. Ask them about the school. Maybe you already have. I wouldn't worry about shifting, megas do not train you for manual transmissions anymore. Its a switch on the turn signal lever now. There are times you can shift but your trainer will work with you on that. You get more backing, more turning, more awareness, more attitude adjustments, rider policies, family in the truck, getting the most of your 70 hours, road breakdown, security, drug/alcohol policy, driving range work, parking and so on, hometime rules, your truck, your pet, and you. Kidding, but there are a HUGE amount of dogs in the trucks. Lots of dogs unloading too in the grass at T Stops. So you need look while doing your pre/post trips. ( joking ) go for it, I say. You should have a grub stake though, slang for money, in case you leave for some reason. Take care, Good Day.
Gtgrollen Thanks this.
