You keep saying that the IRS would like to know about JCT and that you can take them to court and do this and that with them. Well then why don't you just take them to court and shut up about it. All it sounds on here is that they screwed you over and that they were after you. You tried3 different leases and you did not succeed at them. Be a man and stop blaming them. It might just be your way of doing business. Just take them to court and get it over with how they screwed you and that you can prove how they are doing the illegal lease.

As I've stated before, they are not worth my time or money to take to court. The IRS has the resources to do it, and if they do, great. If not, oh well. Personally, I'd love to see JCT have to pony up millions in back employer taxes.

I have no horse in this race or better yet DOG in this FIGHT but read up on this thread every now and then .

You sound like my youngest Brother In Law , failed at EVERYTHING he ever did but an expert at everything and the whole world is out to get him , yet he supposedly has enough evidence of wrong doings on EVERYONE he ever worked for to tye them up in legal system for next 20 years but not worth his time ( has lots of it does not work ) or money ( has none and never will ) to do so.

Then take their fuel discount away ... First, like you said earlier, their fuel card, their money they're fronting. Not getting the discount is part of the overall package. You'll find that carriers that pass through the discount get you other ways - you pay for plate/permits, tolls, etc ... Things that I understand JCT covers.

Second, they are only getting a significant discount at the majors - don't fuel at the majors and let them have their discount. Not to mention you can save yourself up to 20 or even 40 cents by fueling at the independents or regionals.

Third, either fuel with cash - take their discount away - or get your own fuel card ... NASTC, OIIDA and ComData all have fuel cards that you can get and offer varying levels of discounts.

I am by no means an expert and never claim to be but I am sure that they have the lease written in a way that it is legal and that they would not be classified as an employer.

You state that it is not worth your time or money but it does not cost anything to call the IRS and talk to a representative and have them do all the work. I think it is because you know you would not have a case and will probably be told like a friend of mine who called the labor board one time. He had 2 choices either work there or not.

Go find another company to lease a truck from and then come back and tell us how they screwed you over and how they should be taken to court for violating your rights or something to that effect.

That's debatable on how long I can keep my 2nd seat around. If it's not worth his time, then obviously I won't. If the truck is paid off but still has the value of a 5 year old truck due to its high miles from team driving, I'll see no net benefit... so obviously I won't.

Paying the truck off sooner is not a carrot I'm interested in if the result is not keeping my 2nd seat around to turn miles. Do the math.

Your ignorance abounds the conversation here. Has anyone thought about the idea that maybe the reason I don't really pursue things the way others might, is because

    a. I'm a nice person

    b. I work behind the door deals/settlements without the "official" channels

    c. I'm happier now than I was before since I work locally, hourly, massive OT and great bennies, plus I have a sideline business that nets me residual income.

    d. I don't really give a fart. :p

As I stated before I wish you the best at what you do. I could care less about it.
Being a nice person has nothing to do with your 3 failures at a lease.
Hope you are happy with your new job.
Don't understand what you mean by behind doors unless you work in the office.
    Lastly I don't give a fart either.
