I'd think I would look at the bigger picture rather then using whether you can power a tv and other appliances in a company vehicle in dictating your decision in which company to start with. I'd love to bring my dog with me too but I didn't let it influence my choice since pay, assignments, home time, etc were a lot more important. Remember, it's work and if you're doing it right you won't have much freetime out on the road.

I think all those things are part of the bigger picture. Those appliances help me do my job more efficiently.

I put a TV in my truck 2 years ago... I've watched it twice, and it was only for a few minutes. My laptop on the other hand, is always on.

no, ESPECIALLY on a dedicated account. Most of SNI's dedicated accounts have very tight schedules, you will be maxing your hours out daily, and by the time you are done, you will eat, take a shower and be ready for bed.

I am OTR, but have run dedicated a few times to fill in, and in my experience, I have WAY more time when I am OTR than dedicated, they set those dedicated runs up so you have to max your hours to get them done.

    treedodgingfool Thanks this.
