With that transmission, be sure to disengage the traction control and the hill hold when backing, to minimize lurching, and do not feather both pedals when backing. It confuses the computer. Use one foot only when backing, switch it from accel to brake.
I was in a 2020 680 with that same drivetrain until September 4th. It's a good setup, I had few problems, nothing serious at all, except that KW still uses the ignition switch that you have to wiggle every 5th time you use it or it won't work, and KW still uses those same crappy windshield washers that... drool, rather than spray.
Btw, did you know that engine has a composite block? It's made from iron and compressed carbon, I think I got that right, and is about 1K lbs lighter than a standard similar block.
