Sound yummy... the illegal places should just sell it through the liquor stores... it's not as much alcohol as most liquor.
Coffey, mjd4277, Intothesunset and 2 others Thank this. -
It's illegal here. 30% of it is alcohol pretty much.
I don't think it will go down too well considering it's strength. It's too bad, it would be a very interesting glass.
Arkansas has banned some other drinks and if I wanted them retail, I will have to travel out of state to acquire it. It is still legal to possess and drink once its in my cabinet in my dry county. It's fortunate I don't drink much hardly compared to what I was as a young trucker. As bad as I was, you should consider that one of my grandparents when we sold the house for her medical care, one cabinet featured about 105 years worth of alcohol. It would be treated as form of hazmat. And I think there may still be a few of them on the shelf back home. But you cannot risk a drink out of those. It's been too many years and it might hurt you starting with the eyesight among other risks.
I grew up in a Tavern and I dunno, basements full of strong drink of all kinds. Ive always wondered how many people we could sell to on good friday night. (I did a count one time and it turned out to be roughly 300 just for the bar, not counting the food side. There was a awful lot of talk in that bar that stayed there as it should because problems were solved before it really got to be a problem many times.bzinger, Intothesunset and FlaSwampRat Thank this. -

For that kind of money you could get enough red horse in the Philippines to stay cross-eyed for three months!
x1Heavy, Intothesunset and FlaSwampRat Thank this. -
I'm old enough to remember when all you could get was 5% in the states. And in the late 80s, I knew folks who made runs to Canada to get Molsen XXX at 15%. Now it's sold everywhere.
The price of that stuff will keep the demand way down. So unlikely any laws will change for it.x1Heavy, bzinger and Intothesunset Thank this. -

Ive found Samuel Adams to be somewhat of a meal in a glass. A bit much. If I drank like that every day for example I would gain weight. I tended to lean towards a variety of wines and stronger spirits as well as schnapps on up to Moonshine. If you got into the old style rum with molasss base from actual cane sugar instead of the chemical sugars you will may find it to be too joyful. And pay for it come morning.
You would think I am such a drinker from the way I type. I was at one point long ago. But fortunately back then there were people who worked to resolve the root causes and so resolved the situation.
That new Beer is pretty limited run. It would be more of a investment than a drinking beer.
