How hard to replace them? Can i jack up the back of the I-shift transmission to get the weight off the mounts?, what are the torque specs for the 2 main bolts and 6 bolts to the frame? Thanks in advance

Thanks nasriza. Did them on Saturday. it wasn't easy by any means. took me 6 hours. Passenger side had 2 coolant lines for a def doser on the way and had to take dpf bellow pipe to get access to the top 2 bolts driver side had a bunch of airlines covering access to the frame mounting bolts. and to slide them in and out was like solving a puzzle. Did not do lock tight though, did not think about it, may have to revisit later

nasriza how hard us a d12 front engine mount along with 2 transmission mounts? On a 13 speed? And any ideas on a rattling noise out of the shifter in the high range with splitter in hi?

depends on year front mount need to take out to do front mount properly and safely there is a way to sneak it but easier to remove cooling pack. No trans mount unless it’s a 2000 or 99 d12. Rattling noise might be shifter bushing or maybe some bearing in the trans getting a little weak.

Its an 05 670 I've heard you and Jack the engine up with crossed finger to change the front mount. And the transmission mounts are actually rear engine mounts. Is it realistic to open the transmission for repair or just replace it? I've been told just get a remanufactured. Problem is it is a lkq remanufactured. 6 months out of warranty started making noise. I have thought its a spun bearing or one going bad on the. Aux. Trans.

Possibly exhaust bellows gaskets and clamps might have to remove for ease of access other than that nothing.
