Walgreens anyone?

Explain that you are leaving to be home with family and make sure you leave on good terms. Hard to imagine they won't take back if you come back hat in hand and say leaving was a mistake

 

if walgreens is anything like the CVS account, you will do at the very least, 2 trailers a day. you will lump all those plastic storage totes all by your lonesome. you will at times have to get up and crawl in the trailer to make sure you got ALL the plastic totes for every stop.

CVS account was 100% Ryder at one time, then could not get drivers, so now there is a plethora of companies doing CVS.

drivers DO NOT last long on the CVS account. i cannot say say for sure, but both companies are the same in every basic way....

meaning, you very well may leave after all of about less than 2 months.

 

Food service sounds vetter

 

Walgreens pays a lot. If you search theres a few threads on here about them

 

actually it is. i never did food service, but compared to the CVS and perhaps Walgreen's, it's a choice i'd take, if i were younger.

in fact, if one can get on with any major baker of breads like Sunbeam, Wonder, Freihofer's, etc....

 

There are a lot of these types of driving jobs. Drivers usually don't last long bc of the demanding labor. Take fastenall: home daily, 4 nights/ week work, more than 50k/ year. But they never stop hiring bc 1) night driving 2) run out your 14 and 16 3) 10-12 stops over 450-600 miles.

You'll never have to fuel your truck bc you won't have time- they do it during the day while you sleep.

Food service, CVS, Walgreens seem to be the same. Run you hard and fast.

It's great, if you can do the shift, hours, and physical labor.

 

Food service claims 70 to 90. You touch every box off the truck.

 

I think Walgreens is physical but easier then Foodservice. Hauling off totes is easier then piece by piece.

 

Drivers don't want to do anything physical why people don't last at jobs like that. They want drink their coffee, bump a dock, command someone load them now cause they are the most important one of all the drivers. If you throw in night shift too it's the end of the world.
