He won't make that now tho, $200-800/week NET is the range, the new guys are seeing at the Big companies after October 2019. Its like I told the other guy in the "new driver post", go get a job at Costco or 7-11 and you will make more money, no expenses of OTR, no cost of lisc, and more job security. At any time in the next 24 months, companies could literally half their capacity, as this trucking recession gets worse.

Never knew it has gotten so bad, I've never really driven much in the winter any how. With factories paying $20+ an hour starting, it will take alot to get me into a truck again.

I wish all you guys the best in this industry. I'm surprised anyone makes money anymore here lol.

So glad I climbed out of the truck in September, don't plan getting back into the industry until it turns back around. Everyone is getting fked.

General Freight Van, OTR LTL Van, Open Deck, Roll Tite, are just about done.

Its terrible man, even me as an O/O with a decent LTL OTR company, we went from $1.60/mile to $0.75/mile. Its to the point of, where staying home is cheaper.

Going back to FTL Reefer, cause there is literally nothing else going out out west here, unless you wanna do heavy super B ####.

Almost, I was just about to switch to the percentage fleet, like I posted a few months back. Then everything TANKED, so I told them i'm staying line-haul mileage. So of course they didn't like that, and started making me do open board LTL, so my miles dropped like crazy. That's when I decided, enough is enough and parked my truck.

However, I was still making more than the Percentage guys out west, my one buddy doesn't have a choice, he is running for .65cpm down and might make 1.65 coming back. Just trash.
