Hope this finds everyone well and safe. I am contemplating getting my cdl and changing careers, OTR is not my end goal but will probably be my only option at first. Local is my ultimate goal eventually. How much experience would i need before moving into Haz/Mat and or Tankers as a driver.
Ultimate goal is brokering for my own small fleet of trucks, anybody doing that?

If you attend private cdl school, you can go straight into hazmat/tankers at graduation.
Superior Carriers is a good company to start with.
Ask which school they will hire from in your area.
