2000 Volvo VNL, Cummins M11, Super 10, single axle- Ex Fed Ex truck if that makes a difference.

Where is the best place to tie in to a hot brake light wire (down stream from the switch) to install an electric brake controller? I can hear the relay in the fuse panel, but cant find the wire and don't want to go poking wires at random.

For that matter, where's the brake light switch?

Thanks in advance for your response.

    Happy New Year!!

It's behind the cluster. There are two similar looking ones, it's the one on the left

You can run a wire into the fuse box under the hood and into the trailer brake relay output pin. You can strip the wire and wedge the relay in with it. Since there's no splicing or soldering involved, you can always remove the wire and it's back to stock.
