which is better ltl co. to work for

FedEx Freight is a much more stabile company than Holland. I have been driving since early 1995 and I have seen 100s and I mean 100s of Hollands come and go. Holland is ghetto! 10 years from now you will be half way to retirement at FedEx and the only sign of Holland will their name on side of storage trailers at farms and factories.

 

Same here at my shop.

Been working 42-60hrs a week since I started. I don't tell others how much i am working.

 

Wouldn't call Holland "ghetto" they have some problems no doubt. Calling them ghetto is on the same language as CRST / US xpress /Werner / CR england. Fedex is not ghetto, but nothing to brag about.

 

No one from the city can bump my bid, although I can lose it to the senior drivers but the two on the extra board won't jump on my bid as they only want to hold the wheel

 

Have no idea what got into the senior drivers blood stream lately. Ridiculous bids even a newbie hates. Probably to mess with the suits / newbs ( me ) lol. So far they have bid and immediately turned down. Out of the loop how that whole process works. I'm stupid

 

My run is only 70 miles each way and mostly dock work. I'm cool with the supervisors there so they normally leave me alone.

 

Edit to clarify: My supervisors are good to me, Can I trust/Integrity 100% no fricking way

As we both know, new to this company. Never trust the suit. Stab us with a pallet jack if they could with a smile.

 

Oh don't get me wrong I consider myself cool with them and can BS about whatever but I still know theyd stab me in the back to save them selves. These big company jobs are all like that.

Normally the ma and pa jobs you can be friends with management. My boss at the bar I work at part time has taken us to AC, seaside and other trips
