That thread was closed because it was going downhill and becoming a train wreck. So it wasn't you personally, but a collection if responses that caused the closure.

As far as getting banned. It's a 3 step process, in most cases. We warn, then infract (with points), then ban, when the behavior isn't corrected.

We do (as a group) discuss certain situations that occur here. The thread you referenced was closed as per protocol.
