What do you usually gross a week as a YRC doubles driver?

I have a friend who's been there a month. He's averaging a little more than $1000/week, but he's also taking 3 days off every week.

    zoekatya Thanks this.

I take home $600.00 per week here in Pennsylvania.
Lowest paying job I ever had, but depending on what terminal you work out of, you could make twice what I make.
I just happen to be living in a bad location.

Wow that's a huge difference from my buddy in Indy is making. Are you just not getting many miles due to location?

My first full year will close out over 70K gross... As I learn the ropes, I hope to be around 80 to 85K annually.

The best part is being a Road Driver at YRC is almost as close to being your own boss with none of the head aches. All the freedom without the commitments.

Just show up, do your work safely and no one ever bothers you. I don't even know who my supervisor really is.

staceyyoung1, viper822004 and Radman Thank this.

Greywolf is correct. The more you learn the rules as to when you get paid for what, the more you make. Terminal to terminal is easy work and if you are out of a larger terminal, there is more money to be made as they have more freight

How much you make depends on geographical proximity of your terminal to surrounding terminals as well as the size of your terminal and the amount of freight moving through it.
330 miles per day doesn't pay my bills, so I will need to relocate cities for more work.
