We have been to several mechanics and haven’t found the problem. I have an international pro star 2009 Cummins engine that is giving me lots of trouble. It begins to “jerk” and turns off. I have a code for low engine pressure. Not sure that is the true problem since the engine control module has been giving codes for parts that didn’t need repair. Could it be something electrical?? The engine control module was recently reprogrammed because it wouldn’t accelerate.

Low engine pressure? Can you be more specific? There's at least half a dozen different pressures being monitored by the ECM.

I was driving similar Prostar and it didn’t jerk but engine would shut off, sort of grabbed your attention on steep grades. Never learned what issue was

Sorry I meant low fuel pressure not engine.

The ECM might be losing power due to a bad connection or wire. Run the engine and gently wiggle the wiring harness from the ECM to the firewall. Pay attention to the square main power connector at the ECM and the mega fuses at the firewall. I believe there is a 5 or 10amp ignition fuse tucked in behind the mega fuses that might have corrosion in it. So check that too.
