I'd like to know the hiring area. If you find out, post it.

Yes, the finishing program is run from KC and Omaha, however under company drivers OTR, the hiring area says Denver and Cheyanne...

I had, I kind of skipped over since the website isnt very slick ( i know thats a stupid reason) and they dont have any pay rates... Although i do now see they are teamsters so should be pretty good... thanks!! BTW do you work there??

I dont drive for ABF but if you wanna stay local LTL companies are a great option. Fedex, UPS, Old Dominion, XPO, ect. Each have there diffences. But as a city driver at top pay you should be able to clear $65-70,000+. And as a road driver you should be able to make $100,000+.

The downside is when you start you will be at the bottom of seniority. So you gotta take what you can get. And sometimes that means no work.

But like where i work we are short on drivers and dock workers. So there is almost always a run for everyone. And if there isnt a run the bottom guys can always come work the dock. And at least get some hours for the day.

I ran extra-board for about 3 years and refused to bid on a run. I was the top paid driver at the terminal.
The other drivers tried to pressure me to bid on runs and I refused. They didn't like it because I made more money than they did. I said, if you don't like it, why don't you run extra-board like I do. That shut them up.
