They don't appear to have their own subforum, which is why I ask.

I see them around, and their site looks really interesting. Just want to know if there are any good reasons to avoid them?

I merged your threads. Please keep the topic in one thread. It just clutters the forum up. ATS is Anderson Trucking Service.

    8-j Thanks this.

By law any trucking company must pay your wages....even a company operating under chapter 11 is required to maintain a payroll.

They cannot cheat you out of your earnings.

Companies CAN screw with your safety bonus ( if they offer one) all they want, that's perfectly legal.

I worked for them 10 years ago and I thought they did me quite fair.

Historically, ATS has been a decent company. However, there has been a less than nice shake up at the top of the company after 1 January 2014. Veteran company drivers, O/O's and lease operators are leaving the company at a steady rate. I will be one of them. (I am waiting for some personal matters to resolve themselves before I leave).

The huge problem at ATS is the people who are now running things. It's a J.B. Hunt management system now, a former Schneider maintenance employee screwing with tractor computers and incompetent people being promoted within the company instead of being fired.

When ATS buys a new tractor, it has an APU in it. They remove the APU's and put them in storage until it's time to sell the used tractor. They also connect the other 2 cables on the transmission to convert it to the 13 speed it should be now.

They are consistently making bad decisions. It will come back to bite them in the butt sooner, than later….

I'm there now. It was a good company. Now, not so much. The entire operation is slowly changing for the worse. The grandchildren (Rollie's kids) are now running the company stateside. Rollie only handles international shipments now.

1.) Do I stand ANY chance of getting a truck w a APU out of orientation ?
2.) Whats the average bring home per week?
3.) Are you in the TAP program ?
