You have got to expect some things to go wrong with a used truck. Even a new truck is bound to have some issues. The only thing you can do is have it thoroughly checked out before dishing out your money. It might be a great truck for you once the bugs are worked out. Hopefully you kept a pretty decent reserve for things just like this and didn't spend every last dime.

Doealex and slow.rider Thank this.

I’m sure if you read the fine print you bought the truck as is. The first mistake was buying a 2016 international, there’s a reason why thousands of these trucks are for sale on the market.

There is a warranty of implied merchantability that still covers as-is sales. You might have something since it seems the truck is not fit for purpose.
slow.rider Thanks this. -

I looked at an arrow truck about a year ago, it was only a 3 year old KW.
I didn’t even have to call anyone to check it, I didn’t get that far,
Checked everything, got in it after about 30 minutes of serious inspection.
1st off, the drivers door didn’t fit good, It’s been pried open, you could tell it’d been a repo.
There was gunked mess around the little window in the passenger door bottom used to reseal it.
Dude had me start it, I was already uninterested, but I’d driven 5 hours so I wasted his time too.
It fired up, sounded strange for a cummins, you could tell it needed a clutch or bad adjustment, and the drivers seat was broken.
I went on and bought a Freightliner from a Freightliner dealer, have had 0 issues, but I did change the airbags because they had signs of age/cracking.TheLoadOut, joseph1853, Matt1924 and 4 others Thank this. -
Don379 Thanks this.

wasnt my experience with arrow, signed paperwork on the way home the truck started shaking and bouncing all crazy, called sales guy back told him he said to bring it back and they fixed it next day. We paid extra for the national warranty about a month after had the def wire harness break and warranty covered everything but maybe 20 percent of the labor. the npt warranty seems pricey but well worth it.
