I think it is Alexander Winton that lists the bad brokers.

One of the companies I did work for uses Transflo.

It was optional to send paperwork through them or not but as far as I understand it Transflo is just some kind of a thing that they use for paperwork.

I sent mine directly to the company but I think Transflo itsf is not something bad to the best of my knowledge.

 

Third party pay are not unusual. Many brokerage company outsourced AP.
What it does, broker now not liable for underpayment. You call broker - broker directed you to third party. Third party says we pay you everything broker pay us.
Many brokers, Pepsi Logistics just one of them will not authorize third party to receive your invoice. You could call broker week or two just to authorize to submit paperwork.

Agreed. Its a lot easier the less hands involved. There are plenty of decent brokers out there but there are also plenty of noobs, folk who are dumb as rocks, and not to mention all the scam MC#s out there that make it harder on everyone.

 

All the things in the middle including an accountant, a dispatch company. I even started playing with the idea of tax filing and payroll done by myself too.
One guy one truck, this is not too complicated.

 

That's why most of us are OOs. We're all control freaks. Doing things yourself is the only way to know it's done right.
