Hey big shot I said barely. It used to be 15-20 years, alot with 20+ less than ten is pathetic and rarely happened until we started digging into the mega fleets for recruits. Find your own proof maybe in your own file then you know where to put it. Im not here to serve you, defend my position and Im sure not into fighting with the others. My comments from now on are limited to the lawsuit,I have seen how things go on this forum and I dont have time for games. If your involved in the CA action I hope you join us,all are welcome.

For those that are interested in the CA class action I apologise for getting myself off track. Some of you may not want to get involved in the discussion but I urge you to at least learn what you can and how it may affect you. Bentonville is hurting alot of people and I hope this action will give some satisfaction to all involved. This was meant to help all that may be involved and to keep the information current and first hand. Again I apologise for not staying on subject.

I've been searching the internet trying to find information on the lawsuit you are talking about. Can't find anything. Lot's of other Walmart lawsuits, but nothing pertaining to what you have been stating. Do you have a link or webpage we can look at? Not calling you a liar, but I don't know who you are or if you are a troll trying to stir the pot. Would like to see some proof and or facts before I start chiming in on the discussion. I like to be well informed before I open my mouth. Thanks.

The case is showing as dismissed by choice of the plaintiffs. See below court document. Was there an agreed out of court settlement? If so, that is usually not made public. It would explain why the plaintiffs would agree to dismiss the claim.

It might be a different action. I spoke with Matt two weeks ago and he said Walmart had attormeys in Sacramento interviewing drivers. There was a chance settlement talks could have started after that but Im sure the process would have been longer than two weeks. Im going to call Matt tomorrow and see if I can get an update.

That is not the class action complaint,it only has three complaintents. I have spoken with Matt twice in the last month for the updates I have shared. At the top it does list other names,Im not sure what the deal is.

It appears after further review the dismissal from December was to only remove some of the names. It appears this case has been going on for quite a few years. I am researching more of the court documents now.

Its been in the courts in some form or another for sometime. My letter from the attorneys notifing me of the class action status is dated 9/2013. My guess is that the judge ordered Bentonville to realease the names of all the drivers involved and the class action was launched. This probably meant a new complaint with a new case number. Im no attorney but thats how the time frame lines up,Matt can clear it up.

It looks like the judge's order from last June has allowed for the case to move forward after it denied Walmart's motion to dismiss. Most of the causes of action survived (6 of the 7), so Walmart will now have to face these in court. I can see where they would be seeking to settle rather than potentially pay millions. Anyone wanting more information can Google the case number and find court documents spread all over the Internet. This case has been going on since 2008, but it looks like it will get moving in the near future.

    Cal Wally Thanks this.
