Can Anyone help me certain type of employment?

    So I heard from a friend that there might be possible employment in the oilfields in texas, for those who have Hazmat and tankers I think. can anyone out there point me in the right direction and tell me what qualifications I need? I'm looking to gain my Hazmat and tankers endorsement soon but I'm not sure if I need years of experience with those endorsements

    Having the endorsements first will help. Companies are slowly ramping back up.
    Look into the ‘big boys’, Halliburton, Schlumberger, Baker Hughes, to name a few. Most of those companies are willing to train.

    You do know there have been massive layoffs in the Texas oilfields. Mostly in the drilling/maintenance areas but some transportation as well. If you don't live near the oilfield areas, now would not be the time to drop everything and go job hunting.
