It's all relative.. I have a healthy Signature 600 running an 18sp and 3.90's in a 379 and there are hills that pull me down to 30mph all the time. What are the other trucks around you pulling that hill at?

I usually get past like I'm sitting still. Even if I get a running start it falls. Only been driving it a week. Going to get a boost gauge and see what it pulls.

Air filter looks clean but am going to change it anyway and the fuel filters are next.

There’s so many things that it could be. Could be a boost leak, low fuel pressure, restrictions in fuel lines, fuel filters, valves out of adjustment, fuel pedal not commanding 100%, might be a code that’s not showing on the dash and has it de-rated, etc....

Lot to think about.

Also I know you mentioned that you where pulling at 1500rpm. Is that all it will do or are you just not taking it higher then that??
-
On the flats thats about 75 mph.

Downshift early and wind that thing up to about 1800 before you hit the hill.
Roberts450 and Vampire Thank this.
