Did he just say....Grand Union! LOL

I agree with homeskillet, try Land-Air of New England, i drove air freight in NY back around 2000 and always was curious about them. Night LineHaul to one of those terminals would seem to be easy enough if you can handle the night driving.

LogisticsOne over in Saratoga might be an option, they were decent back in the day. They stay relatively Northeast too.

Fane in Troy is a good place too, but you work there, M-Saturdays, early start times...those fellas are usually finishing up 2-3p in the afternoon so you can do the math.

Lol...Grand Onion as my dad use to call it!

I got a App in at Land-Air. I'll check with LogisticsOne but I read some horror stories about getting paid with them. Fane isn't doing anything until the spring.

Not being rude, but you're being awfully picky for someone with zero experience. Lots of companies will require you to start working within a certain time frame after receiving your CDL, otherwise they'll consider it 'stale' and will require you to go to a refresher, etc. Nobody can start from the top, and the jobs and pay you're looking for are practically non-existent for someone with zero experience.

I got a job with a tanker company. Pays better than ARG.

Also, I’d put money that I’m 10X the driver than some of the drivers out there with the required experience for some of these jobs. A couple years experience is a crock in some cases. It’s not always the insurance that won’t allow it.

I look forward to learning and becoming better in all aspects.
