On Monday October 4, 2021 I delivered to Costco in Morris Il. They rejected one skid because the wooden pallet was slightly damaged but the merchandise was in perfect condition. I then had to cancel my next appointment and wasted the rest of my day carting their pallet back to Chicago.

Last year I had another problem at this facility. I was delayed because of a flat and I arrived 30 minutes late for my appointment. I noticed it took a long time for the green light to appear so I could depart. It became obvious they had finished loading and I went to the office to ask them to unhook the trailer. The person at the counter made it quite clear that delaying my departure was the punishment for arriving late.

I am never returning to that place. Don't go there unless you have lots of time to waste.

Not being tough, but it would have made its way back, when I went back that way. They are already holding your money one to four weeks. What's another one our Two.
Qvc told me I wasn't leaving with an empty trailer. I said no problem. I need a 2 hour break. If there's not an empty ready in two hours I'm taking this one back to Ohio. They tried to inform me that would be thief. I informed them the bills where not sign and the trailer has not left the truck. They said land star will let you go. I said so. Ill sell the truck. In 45 mins landstar called me with a trailer number.
Moral of the storey. Say what's on you mind. But say it nicely. And don't be afraid to use your insurance that's why you have it.
But I'm sure one of the o/o here will have the proper terminology to put in your contact next time this happens.
    Sorry about your luck.

I like going there because I always get there early they let you park overnight there they give you one of those buzzer like at a steakhouse restaurant and there are two truckstop right next to it. But I had a rejected one load there because of 1st pallet had a case or two missplaced so my company told me to take it back to the shipper which I pick it from Arlington,TX and i got doing that. Keep sending me to Morris

I hauled a load of Rainbow playsystem there. The way it was loaded, they couldn't (wouldn't) unload it, so I had to drop the trailer somewhere to have holes cut in the boxes. I lost two days, but at least they took it.

I'm so glad I'm done swinging doors!

I’m with the OP. Holding him hostage for arriving late? The crap you van and reefer guys deal with. I coddled those horrid shippers and receivers for a decade before I wised up and started pulling tanks. It’s a whole different world over here, a better one in every aspect.
