Crude Oil Drivers in South Texas getting highjackked

This is nothing new. We've had loaded trucks parked in the yard just disappear even with a security guard at the gate. Sometimes they find the truck empty and sometimes they know it went to Mexico. It doesn't happen very often but it does happen.

 

I some drivers were getting rob west of Mission, Texas a couple of months ago if i remember correctly. I heard the Sheriff was going to beefed up patol around those areas.

 

That's why I'm glad I'm in North Dakota.

I'm not afraid to throw chains, but I object to a gun in my face. For some reason, southerners seem to be the other way around.

In the mission area there were somelfake cops pulling over truckers and robbing the,, this has been in on going problem down here, we have beem told just keep driving and call 911 for verifacation

You are 100% correct. I meant they went bankrupt. Cobbed all their creditors. Greatwide Mavis was their OD and heavy haul some yrs ago. We pulled some loads for them and had no problems. Talked to drivers hauling WalMart junk out of Cleburne for .78 a mile and a few bucks to unload. Let the illegals have that garbage.
