Update, I left Denver this morning to go home in Amarillo, the most gutless truck I’ve ever driven, I’m not impressed with the trucks at all. Took me 8.5 hours to get from Denver to Amarillo, in the Peterbilts I used to drive, would’ve taken me 6.5 hours, I’ve done it before in those trucks and also didn’t have to take a 30 minute break 1 hour from home. I’m hoping the loads pay good. Expecting to get calls tomorrow, because I didn’t know how to do anything on the peoplenet, I’m sure I screwed up everything this morning, wasn’t ever showed how to do anything on it. It might be a good fit for y’all that have done this kind of thing before, but I don’t know anything about reefer or elog. Kinda disappointed with the training

Nothings gonna compare to a 379 or w900 with a cat. Trust me. Crappy thing about company driver life. I mean you could go to Western but .33cpm is a rip off to run a nice truck.

I came out of a 07 w900 with a studio sleeper and a turned up cat. Straight pipe and Ecu tune. Sweet ride. But I’d stay out for month sometimes 2-3 months to make 80k a year if I ran hard. Now I’m working 5 days. Sleep in my bed, Off weekends, and make more money. Got to take the good with the bad. Now I drive a gutless daycab compared. Gotta slow down to go off the hills when before I’d just split the top gear and let the jake rumble in the W900 and it’ll just hold. Miss the truck but don’t miss the pay and the long months on the road.

yeah, nothing compares to an ungoverned 800 cat. Bad thing with this place is I’m otr, I don’t know how long I’m going to have to be out. I’m going to give it a month, but I’m already thinking I’m going to be back in a cow truck pretty soon.
