It's already been quicker for me, based on my experience and not my opinion, but that's not the main reason I dedicated the time to learn the skill.

That ranks up there with extending your little finger while sipping your “lot-tay”. :laughing6:

Everyone get on the horn to your company's safety department and impress upon them how this will save money in equipment damage and driver injuries. Why didn't anyone think of this before?

Seen the video and that item looks like something that is permanently attached to the con. Cool item but I am not familiar with any company that uses this.

I disagree with your logic of just spotting a gear to your back box to save time. But for craps and giggles, let's go with it.

You pull into a drop lot with triples. They want you to drop your middle box plus rear con for the next guy.

So when you rehook your front to your rear, would it not be faster to back your already attached con to your rear box?

Or would you drop your con, then disconnect your lead... Then shuttle your con to your rear, then reconnect to your lead, then back your lead to the con you were originally hooked to, only to reconnect to your rear?

Why not just pull the dolly behind your lead to the new tail , then put it in place by hand, if that's how you do it. But it's been 50/50 that in the new set the lead is now the tail.
