Are companies still conducting orientations like they used to? What is the process for Covid 19 screening? If any, I'm interested because I'm coming back from overseas and want a heads up on what to expect.
I would figure that most megas have some sort of program in place to satisfy the trainers, who have to live in close proximity with a new driver.
How are companies screening new hires - Covid 19

Theres no screening that I know of where I work. Drivers still play musical chairs in different trucks. I've had 3 drivers in my truck since the thing started.
I'm not worried about it either. Testing every driver every time he changes trucks? Dont give people anymore ideas please.Brettj3876 and Razorwyr Thank this. -
My company has orientation as normal. They just have you wear a face covering. The bigger issue you may have is with shippers and receivers, depending on where you traveled from but you'll probably have to quarantine for 14 days when younget back to the states. Places are wanting to know if you were out of the states the previous 14 days. Some don't care but others do

I'm back in the states now from overseas. I have it figured out. Basically, a lot of companies are trying to do as much online as they can. Of course, you still need to come down to the yard for a physical and a roadtest at some point, but everything else is being done with online learning modules and vids.
