Mirror visibility in rain

    IIRC those brush-like things UPS has on the sides of their trailers over the wheels serve to mitigate this sort of thing, at least that’s what I was once told.

    Heated mirrors. Water goes byebye. It would take alot to ice them over at that point. And I have iced them over a time or two.

    Rain X is quite something these days. And a roll of shop towels.

    I was going to suggest the same thing as
    @shatteredsquare but I use plain old Turtle Wax paste. It's an old car show trick that makes the glass look invisible.

    Regardless of what you apply to the glass, it is critically important that you get
    everything off the glass first. I use rubbing alcohol and paper towels. I know I've got all the stuff off when it suddenly becomes harder to move the paper towel across the glass.

    They do make heated 7” and 8” round convex mirrors.
