I don't work for Pepsi, but I'd tend to think you'd see the same disparity in the benefits. The difference in Coca Cola facilities one hour apart in my area (Western PA) are enormous. I'm betting Pepsi is the same way, just my 2 cents.

Here in buffalo benefits started day one which was pretty cool, and as far as money I was trained for about a month and I was grossing around 865 a week.

Remember I was hourly and only being paid 14.55 an hour, then I went on my own and paid by commission, basically $440 a week base pay and ,23 cents a case and some weird overtime rate, were union here in buffalo.

And hear I'm not sure how coke a cola is compared to us. Never really had a conversation with any of their drivers, I see the beer guy and milk guy more then I do the coke guy.

But good luck, it's hard work until you get use to it. It's a great job, basically my first driving job, my wife is 34 weeks pregnant she doesn't have to work because Pepsi helps me make good money.

Thanks! I had read somewhere about the bennies starting on day 1 and that is what I was hoping for. $14.55 an hr is what I am starting at as well. I have orientation Monday the 17th. I am leaving a city driver freight job and moving south so this will be a helluva adventure for sure!

I am headed to FL. There was nothing wrong with my last job actually I really liked it and it paid well. I just decided I wanted to get out of the snow and ice of the north and began looking for a decent trucking job that I would be off work before 8pm each night like my last job. I found the Pepsi gig and it met the requirements. I am used to hand unloading freight so I am not afraid of hard work. I really like the schedule, I am a morning person.

I was In the hiring process of Frito lay until they found out I only had 1 year experience. So they had to throw away my application. They want 2 years experience . I talked to HR if they were willing to work with my experience and they said Nope!!!! So I have to suck it up for a few more months until I hit my 2 yr mark .

No, other than meeting a few of their drivers in our yard here and there. I'm not far enough up in seniority to snag that run when it comes up :)
