Yes it was. I'm not sure the exact width and length, cause as soon as I saw the height I knew it was too tall, measured it at 9' tall.

Good tip on hooks in the winches.

And one side of the support legs is sticking out. No key with it so we couldn't straighten the boom. Fortunately, we permitted for a little extra.

I was going to haul a covered trailer, but it ended up being too tall. Just a tandem axle trailer you'd pull behind a pickup. Anyways, it was the same width as my flatbed, and the tire bulge was sticking over each side of my rub rail about three quarters of an inch. I know "tire bulge" on the truck and trailer doesn't count towards being over width, but I assume it does if it's the cargo, right? In that case, was the cargo also over width?

With that one leg sticking out, it makes it 9'4" wide. AZ has been looking at OD loads hard lately, and I've heard VA is too.

Ouch. Didn’t see that. Thought it was less maybe.

But I know. Been between FL and CA for 2 months straight back and forth for same customer. 14-15 wide. One 10 God I hate AZ. But I have Banning on speed dial. Never been in once :D

I freaking hate that Banning scale, CA wastes a lot of time at all their scales, but good lord...

AZ has been measuring on the scales lately. I wonder if they're looking to make up some revenue after last year.

If you’re around 13’ wide or bigger, call banning when you’re near hwy 62. 10m roughly. Unless you need to park there, they usually tell you to go on by. If they want you, they will close it for you. In and out :)

I try and time AZ on weekends. 0300 haul butt with escort. I try and get through before they knew what happened :D
