To clarify.I've heard hauling a reefer in Cali is very profitable right now. What's the cycle of profitablity like? When's the slow down? When's the Hot Cycle?Plus's?Drawbacks?

Hahahaha.......yeah you have all the cut throat's out here slaughtering the produce rates.Produce rates and reffer rates have not been all that great out here at all the problem is to many trucks and not enough loads.Another factor is lurking around and should make a presence soon. That is the fact that the Govenator has cut off the water supply to the farmers for ag. this is going to create a huge problem.

"In the Central Valley, meanwhile, tens of thousands of farmers, farm workers, and local officials protested federal and state water cuts during a series of marches this march.
Between 70,000 and 80,000 farm workers are out of work this year as a result of water shortages, according to a study from the University of California, Davis. California ordinarily supplies America with half of its fruits and vegetables. "

"Patricio, who is also chairman of the board of directors for the Western Growers Association, says he has laid off hundreds of workers on his 2,000-acre cantaloupe farm near Firebaugh in the past few years, and watched dozens of his neighboring farmer friends go belly up"

No water, no farmers,no produce= no loads or Less water, less farmers, less produce=less loads.Either way you look at it its not good.
