Now I never used one, but after I became a mom, the 'looks' I gave people turned from 'what is WRONG with you'....to 'smart mom, you really care about your kids!' So good for you! I was big on strollers, carts or holding my hand. I can honestly say that I could probably count on one hand the times where I had to call out for any one of my 4 kids in any public place...my kids are way too precious to me to let out of my sight. This is the one part of my life that I can probably say I'm truly over-paranoid!
I'm a Grandma now, my oldest is 20, and I STILL worry about him. Always will, I guess that's what us moms do best. And my 18 year old...I still leave a light on for him that I can see from my bedroom, and I always wake up several times at night and only when that light is off can I really sleep well.

I'm 34 years old, and I still have to call my dad when I get home from leaving his house. It doesn't matter how old your kids are, you are always a parent.

You have a great Dad there, Leanna!

Yes I do. I can't tell him if I am going to do something that will worry him. The other day, he forbid me to come up in the storm, so I basically had to show up on his doorstep to take him in to the hospital. He doesn't even get mad anymore, he knows that I will do what I do. But I still had to call him when I got home. But when I inherited a teenager of my own, I was the same way with her that he was with me.
