Driving session is for the new DOT rule of drive 8 hours, 30 min break. It is in place for future use or you can use it.

This is what you saw at "0"?

The screen shot takes a pic of the active screen. It is on the TND under RM/User/screenshots. You have to manually look at them via the computer.

Same version., so the screens look the same.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Sounds like a bad AC charger. Call Rand Support for a replacement charger.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Question - My husband purchased the 720 about 3 months ago and multiple times a day he will get the low memory error and another .exe type of error. This will even happen as he is driving at some of the worst possible times and when he resets it, it sometimes takes 30min to boot up and pull up his location - where he has to then redo - and reenter his destination. Thanksgiving weekend he was finally home long enough to troubleshoot; at that time he found on Rand's website under FAQ's a brief line about this and it instructed the user to call tech support. The answer also said that high speed internet is required. According to Rands site, tech support is only open M-F, business hours. My husband is only home some weekends and has no access to high speed internet while on the road. After some more googling i came across this site and i hope you can help because i can no longer find that question about the error and the tech support number (scratch that i found tech support but doesnt help me because he is not here) . Is there anyway he can fix this while out on the road, he will not be home for another 2 weeks. We did dock it while home, installed updates and ran tool to detect errors (twice because it found an error the first time). We hoped that would have done the trick, but 20 minutes later memory error, 5 minutes later the .exe error.

Some of these questions he will have to answer via you since I take it you do not have the physical unit in hand.

    1. Will it power up and allow him to put in a route?
    2. Go to main screen/preferences/Screen Snapshot button - turn on.
    3. Make sure he does not have an external SD Card in the External SD Slot.
    4. When he sees the error - on the screen on the upper left you will see a camera icon. press it. This should capture the screen shot.

    5. While he is on the road does he have 3g or 4g service and a laptop with him?
    6. Is he running Wi-Fi when he sees this "memory error"?
    7. Have him put it in car mode - preference/vehicle type - car mode.. does he see the memory issue?

If you wish you can E-Mail me and we can continue troubleshooting.. I am available after hours and on the weekends to assist. I use TeamViewer to remote into user's laptops to see the TND.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Thank you - I will go over these on our next chat. Unfortunately he does not have a laptob, instead a tablet which has no USB to dock. I will share with him your email, he might find that easier to reach out to you directly. Appricaite the fast response and the help.
