An encouraging word, a compassionate embrace, a heartfelt prayer during lonely hard times out on the road. Where would we be without our truckstop chaplains. Take the time to thank one such as they. Take time to look one up if you've a need. My favorite chaplain is on duty at the Coffee Pot Bible Fellowship-Sapp Brothers truck stop in Cheyenne, WY.
The coffee is always on and the love is real.

I don't currently pay tithes to any church...but if I do ever start paying again...I wouldn't mind giving to those truck stop churches...not that any one of them has ever helped me in any way...but I am impressed that they think enough of truckers to even still bother...

expecially as spiritualty or church, seems to be taking more and more of a back seat in peoples lives...

Seems like politics and entertainment now define this country...

People polarize each other with politics...and the younger people are just into entertainment...

The cares and worries of this world have almost made 'salvation' seem like an optional thing.

I'm no exception...but it's still enough on my mind for me to want to respond to this post...

Truck driver chaplin life can be very lonley...almost like the life of a priest...

Hat's off to them...someday they will be rewarded...

Love these folks! Humble, loving, and willing to just pour in the soothing oil of God's Love whenever you stop in.
I've gotten books, tapes, heck--even dinner, and all this without a dime spent! They've told me to make sure if I ever found myself with the chance to encourage my fellow drivers, for me to "pay it forward".
It's a good work they're doing. Often thankless, from a human perspective, but there is Someone Who sees in secret. Love 'em!

It is good to know that truck drivers appreciate the ministers who donate their time to serving them.
