Has anyone tried this phone service? Visible | The Future Of Phone Service It doesn't look too bad. It's supposedly unlimited talk, text, data including hotspot. All for 40 a month using Verizon coverage.

You can actually get it down to $25 a month by joining a "party"

This is the Reddit page. Huge thread in there about joining a party.

I use a govt life line. Its essentially free and I don't worry about anything anymore related to smart phones. In the past I considered them parasites.

My brother tested it. First all customer service is done by chat. Second Visible uses the Verizon network, but it only connects by LTE, so it has more deadspots than a standard Verizon phone would have. For example, Visbible doesn't connect AT ALL on I-65 in KY between TN and Elizabethtown, KY. No calls, text, no data.

"Join Visible and pay $40 a month $25 for your first month.

Unlimited data*, messages, and minutes all on Verizon’s 4G LTE Network. Plus, for a limited time, we’ve removed our speed cap - free for as long as you remain a member.

No annual contracts. No hidden fees. No nonsense. Oh yeah, we also ditched the stores, lines, and annoying sales people."

Unlimited data with an asterisk. Speed caps for non members. Dead zones galore.

No thanks, man. I've had enough hard times already.

I use it and so far so good. No dead spots, better coverage than friend that uses at&t. It’s cheap.
Had one problem when coverage went out in an area. Chatting with customer service can be annoying ( but so can talking to someone live in another country). It turned out to be a problem with a tower.
I use it for watching Netflix, Hulu etc. No problems and no throttling.
The price is great, if you can find something better I would like to know about it.
    Good luck.

I recently added Visible as a 2nd line to my iPhone. I ported my 757 area code service I was getting from AT&T. I then got my daughter to take me to my local AT&T store and had AT&T set me up with a 706 area code number so people I know in Georgia could call me and have it be a local number. Both lines are costing me $55 and I am happy. There is a Verizon tower close to my home and I get fantastic service.

I believe what @tscottme mentioned in this post has been fixed.

The wife and I got new phones back in October, and put them on the Visible 25$ plan. I still have my AT&T service and wanted to check them out side by side.

While I have found a few remote places in Montana and Wyoming where I had no service with Visible, and still a couple bars with ATT, overall the Visible has been better for me.

I'll be droppin my ATT this month. Works great for my needs, and drops my cell cost substantially.

The areas I've used it have pretty much been west of I-29/I-49. Not sure if service would suffer in more densely populated areas
