At a rest area. Had to ask for a fuel stop. Got one of those loads where I can't go over 1/4 tank- weight issues.

I've been around the house since Friday, truck in shop for clutch and ecm issues. It's turned into a comedy of errors, at a shop that'd been ok in the past. Lets see... Monday had to wait for a part for the pto drive, Tuesday they break clutch linkage, not that unusual, but said, "part won't be here til tomorrow." When I get to shop later to see what's up, it's a freaking linkage rod that I drove and picked up at the KW dealer 5 minutes away. Then they realize they forgot to get a carrier bearing and nobody has one. Last night they have it all together and go for a test driver with the test ecm in place. They managed to screw something up, the transmission won't shift completely into direct (3, 7) and after farting with shift tower for hours last night, crew admits defeat: gotta wait for day shift. After 4 hours of futile effort this morning, they have decided to pull tranny back out. won't listen to dumb truck driver who thinks they have put pto on incorrectly. Possible they dropped something into trans removing shift tower, but I'm betting pto was not correctly shimmed and fubar'd something. Are there any shops left you don't have to babysit every step of the way?

    Sioux Falls, btw.
