Recently, I got very drunk on vacation and was stumbling around the street and some people called an ambulance(against my will) and I was taken to the hospital for alcohol intoxication. I had also made the bad decision to smoke marijuana the day before, took about 3 or 4 puffs(which is the 1st I've smoked in a VERY long time).
I'm not sure if they drug tested me in the hospital or not.
My question is, will the hospital submit anything to the DOT about my visit since it was alcohol related and possibly positive marijuana test results. Wasn't sure about privacy policies concerning this type of thing with someone who has a CDL. I've tried to research it, but have not found anything.
Also, to let everyone know....I know that I made a bad decision, I also was not driving the whole vacation.
The incident happened a full week before having to go back to work.
Will a hospital submit anything to the DOT about my hospital visit?

How long ago? You got hair follicle testing coming up next if you are new. Get ready to bend over! Those "puffs" will be in the hair for up to a year.
